I knew Alison at Shenfield School in the 70's - she was my first real girlfriend! She was a year above me, and I was always very proud that she wanted to go out with someone younger (tho' only a few months). We went out for about 6 months, and I have so many fond memories of that time. We reconnected in the 90's, she was still the kind, funny, loving person I remember. She always remembered my birthday, and I would get a card and email every year, on the dot.
It is almost impossible to believe that she is gone, and I will so miss her; her good wishes, sense of humour and loving thoughts. Rest in peace, dear Alison. It was such an honour and pleasure to know you.

Alison you were always so caring and considerate. You went out of your way to take care of everyone.
The heart of Colets has gone, but will never be forgotten.
I appreciate and am thankful for all you did for me, and everyone around you.
Rest easy kind Alison xx

Alison is, was and forever will be one of the kindest, warmest, funniest, patient and honest women I have had the pleasure of knowing. If it wasn’t for Alison, I don’t think I’d ever have had a cup
of tea on my visits to see her and Malc. I will miss having those moments with her and without the doubt the banter but the laughter and stories will forever remain. We will all miss you. ❤️
